It’s going to be hard to find a better combination than a Monster Jam taking place at a spot like GMC Stadium! With a name like that, this venue was meant to host massive trucks smashing obstacles en route to a perfect time down the course. Grave Digger, Megalodon, and company are going to be heading to Calgary with the first run being on Friday, September 11th. The trucks are staying in Calgary for the weekend, hosting three total performances. Starting on that Friday date, going through Saturday, September 12th, and Sunday, September 13th.

The Monster Jam Experience at GMC Stadium
Here at GMC Stadium, Monster Jam events offer a unique viewing experience for fans. At virtually every stop on the Monster Jam tour, the trucks circle around an enclosed stadium. They’re, of course, running over cars and other obstacles in the process. You get some of that here in Calgary, but the main difference is that the action is happening directly in front of you at all times! The seating layout at this venue ensures that fans in the stands are looking directly at the action. If you’ve been to a rodeo show here, you know exactly what we’re talking about. There’s quite a bit more horsepower involved in Monster Jam, that’s for sure!
This seating layout makes finding the right spots essential to having a great time at this event. Some fans might be lured into the front row seats at this venue. We have to agree that from those spots you’re going to be taking in these incredible machines in their full glory! There’s certainly a lot of value in that. Particularly if you’re taking young kids to the event and you’re looking for that wow factor above everything else. That being said, it could make more sense to locate seats a few rows up. This way you’ll have a much wider view of the action. If you’re truly interested in the competition aspect, then this is certainly where you’ll want to be. All great options, just something to keep in mind!
