Here’s a bit of a rundown of who you’re in line to see throughout this performance and how these rodeo and music nights tend to play out. That way, when you set foot inside Freeman Coliseum, you’ll know exactly what you’re getting yourself into. If you already know who you want to see and how things work, you can click the yellow box below!

Brad Paisley, Midland, Sheryl Crow, and Others Will Be Stepping Into the Arena

The lineup for this year features some pretty big names in country music. Brad Paisley might just be the one that the country music crowd is most excited about. There’s some great news on that front, spots inside the Freeman Coliseum for that event on February 15th are starting at around $60. You’re gonna want to be quick about grabbing those because prices could sink or swim in the days leading up to the event. With someone like Brad Paisley, you gotta believe they’re going to swim before they sink.

Midland and Sheryl Crow are also going to be stepping into the arena to bring the much-needed country music element to a rodeo. If we had it our way, perhaps all of the performers should be within the country music, bluegrass, or Americana scope. However, Mexican bands are taking the stage on some dates, and even Ludacris is getting a chance to headline on February 27th. If you’re into that, the 15% discount is still valid!

The Rodeo Show Lasts 2 Hours & Then Comes the Music

Here are a few things that you’re gonna want to know if you happen to be a first-timer at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. The first thing is that your ticket to the event grants you access to the fairgrounds. That means it makes sense to arrive early and take in the entire experience. Also, on some dates, there are two performances, one starting at about noon and the late-night one kicks off at 730. You gotta buy tickets for the exact concert that you want to see. The rodeo lasts about 2 hours, then we’ve got about a half hour break to get the arena ready. Once that’s over, the artists are going to be taking the stage!
