To be fair, Tucker Wetmore brings a ton of emotion to his country songs as well. “Wind Up Missin’ You” is one of those tracks that we’ve had to replay here a to because the main cowgirl decided she didn’t want to stay, but hey, it just makes those drinks at an event like this go down a little quicker.
We love it when there’s a female presence in a male-led lineup or vice versa. Usually, boys are singing about love, huntin’, and fishin’, and we get the ladies trashing on the guys. It ends up being a good balance for a country night. The thing with at least this version of the “Better In Boots” tour is that it features Lannie Gardner. We’re not saying that’s bad news; it’s just that you’re going to have to bring a ton of tissues to this one if she starts us out with “Love in Letting Go” or “Faded Polaroids.” You know how they say that if you’re going through a storm, lean into it?
