If you think Tim McGraw when you think of your favorite song, then you’ve at least got one thing in common with Taylor Swift. When you get over the shock of that, you can also get excited because he’s coming to the Alpine Valley Music Theatre this Saturday, August 22nd. This is one of the stops on his Pawn Shop Guitar tour that’s bringing new music and old classics to the masses. He’s doing it “Over and Over Again…” It’s one of the best country shows that you can attend this year. In fact, out of what and who is playing at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre, you could argue this will be the best show of the year.

Perhaps the biggest surprise, at least for this particular show, is the presence of 49 Winchester. You’re truly getting two great acts for the price of one. If you have an “Everlasting Lover” that you want to bring to the show, that track’s going to hit home hard. Also, Tim McGraw is hitting the road with new music. If you haven’t had time to listen to some of that Pawn Shop Guitar music, there are still a few days before the concert to get up to speed with that track.
Truth be told, this might be one of the best moments to catch Tim McGraw playing live. He’s built up an incredible music library at this point. The show’s just going to go from strength to strength. Before you know it, you’re going to be saying, “I Like it I Love It.” Andddd that’s going to be the last of our bad jokes featuring the names of Tim McGraw songs, we promise!
Best Places to Sit Inside The Alpine Valley Music Theatre
Since this is not a massive venue, you can truly have great views from virtually anywhere in the house. What we would recommend, though, is that you stay within the middle sections. In those 203 and 201 sections, you might find yourself a bit far off to the side. You’ll want to be careful with that. Right now we’ve been able to spot some really good deals on actual seats. The 202 section, which is right smack in the middle of the theater, has spots starting at around $65. That’s not a bad deal at all for a star-studded show like this one.
