The Cloud Nine Tour rolls on with Megan Moroney and her dog making their way to the TD Garden on July 6th. A couple of things to keep in mind here right off the bat! As we stand right now, about a month out from the 2-night stop in Boston, July 6th and 7th are the only two dates that Megan has booked for Boston on the Cloud Nine Tour. This is something that doesn’t seem like it’s going to change. After all, Megan’s set to take the stage in Brooklyn on July 9th.
This new Megan Moroney performance features tracks from her latest release, Cloud Nine. Our personal favorite is “I Only Miss You” featuring Ed Sheeran, but it seems fans have taken more of a liking to 6 Months Later and Medicine. You could argue, though, that songs from this album have picked up more steam than ones from her “Am I Okay” release. Wherever you fall on that argument, what’s undeniable is that this is a great chance to bring a pink cowboy hat and sing along to some of the best tracks from Megan Moroney’s music library! What We Know About the Cloud Nine Tour?
Megan Moroney at this point has crossed the line between being a country music act and is now in superstar status. We want to put that out there because you can expect a performance that’s going to feature visuals worthy of a top pop star. It’s going to be really interesting to see how that looks inside the home of the Celtics. Also, keep an eye out for special guests. This is a big two-nighter in Boston; it would be really weird if she didn’t have something special planned.
Now, just because she’s big time doesn’t mean that she can’t channel the emo cowgirl anymore. If you’re coming out here hoping that she sings “Tennessee Orange” or some of the tracks from her earlier releases, she’ll likely be more than happy to oblige. That’s the duality of this tour: there are going to be mega pop concert moments, and then she might just dim the lights and walk out on stage just with her guitar. This performance can take you to a ton of different places.
Picking Seats Inside the TD Garden
There’s going to be an elongated stage that Megan’s likely going to use to make sure that she can interact with fans throughout the performance. Right now, there are still spots available in that pit area, but obviously, they come at the steepest price tag. If you’re looking for a good deal for this performance, sections 6 and 7 on the first floor of the main stands might be a great place to start. Make sure that you pick a row further up, and that will guarantee a wide view of the performance from a direct view; you won’t be looking at Megan at an angle at all.
